Earth Goddess - a Samhain Immram with Cacao, Clay and Seasonal Ceremony.
£65.00

October 21st. 2.30-6pm. Rose Cottage Studio, Dull near Aberfeldy Scotland.

Cacao Ceremony ~ Mythopoetic Storytelling ~ Soul Immram ~ Clay figurine crafting and altar adorning ~ Mugwort Plant Connection ~ Samhain Ritual.

This ceremony is not only a marker of time but an invitation of internal creation. Samhain, the last harvest and beginning of winter has marked the true start to a new year in Celtic tradition and was revered like the setting of the sun to be an invitation to retreat inward and find the fertile and fecund soil of our souls as planting ground for our dreams to take root.

All snacks & beverages, cacao and clay included on day. Goody bag of herbal creations from sacred roots apothecary included. No previous experience with clay needed simply an open approach to exploring creativity! Women of all ages welcome, we ask if your daughter wishes to join that you let us know ahead of event.

Amidst the decay of the summer, the darkness beckons us to face our shadows, find the Great Mystery waiting for us to embrace its guiding magic.

To mark the personal transformation you are entering during this time and pick up an ancient thread of the spiritual practice of altar adorning, worship of life in all its seasons and practical magic. Held within a ceremonial container and fuelled by sacred cacao and dream weaving mugwort you will be guided through mythopoetic story telling and inner visioning, and inner journey called Immram that brings forth the inner image of what you will be forming into clay with your hands. To leave not only with a renewed sense of Self, connection to land and Spirit but also a physical item of power and beauty, acting as an anchor and adornment for your home during the Cailleach’s reign and the coming time of winter

Practicing dúthchas

Scottish Gaelic translated as belonging and reciprocity with the land. 'heritage' or 'birthright,' but conveys a much richer idea of a collective claim on the land, people belong to places rather than places belong to people, It is an understanding of belonging which emphasises reciprocal relationships with the animate & natural world.
