The sacred breath of life is a gift which must be appreciated every day.
We arrive in this world with one inhaling and we depart with one exhaling. In between we breath every moment of our existence to stay alive and yet the power of breath is underestimated.
When we are born we breath deeply without any pause between inhaling and exhaling, a deep calming, centering and grounding kind of breath, but when we grow up, our life experiences, traumas and a stressful lifestyle alter our breathing: we tend to breath shallow in the upper chest and shoulders and we usually are not aware of our own breath.
A shallow, tense breath can have an influence on our physical and psychological health and can be a cause (or at least one of the causes) for a number of diseases such as anxiety disorders, depression, neck and back pain, digestive issues, intercostal pain, etc.
With the Conscious Breathwork we learn how to breath again, like when we were babies, with a number of benefits on our general health and lifestyle: we can feel grounded and centred, develop our talents, release any energetic block, tension and unwanted pattern, re-elaborate our past, feel relaxed and energised to create a better future for ourselves, our family and friends, community and planet Earth.
